Wisconsin Schools and Colleges

Wisconsin has a nice group of affordable state colleges located in almost every city. But if your local college doesn't offer the courses you're looking for, you may have to either move away to attend a college somewhere else, or you could try an online school.

If you're still undecided on a college major, you could simply enroll in one of the more popular fields, and if it doesn't work out, or if you just aren't interested in it, you can easily change majors. Two of the biggest colleges on most campuses are the education and business schools. And while teaching certainly isn't for everyone, a lot of people get people end up becoming deeply interested in a subject, let's say geography or history, but once they get out of college, they have trouble finding a job in that field. But it's possible that they can get a job teaching those subjects. Is becoming a teacher right for you?

Business school is still a good option too. If you don't think you're a good match for a business major, you can certainly try it out with a couple of classes. If you're not into numbers, you don't have to go into accounting or finance. But there are concentrations in information systems (if you like computers), marketing (if you like sales) or human resources management (if you like working with people). You can see more info here about business majors.

If you enjoy your business classes and you are ambitious, you can continue on with your schooling and go right into graduate school after you get your bachelor's degree. If you can afford it and you don't mind putting off getting a job for another year, earning your MBA right after earning your undergraduate degree is really the easiest way to go. You can take a look at MBA schools in your area.

Now, if you are reading this but you still haven't finished high school -- that is where you need to start. Completing your high school diploma is something everyone needs to do. Get going.
